Agree on the money and the rules before anyone moves in, then make the monthly part automatic: one person collects each roommate's share of the rent and bills before paying the landlord, chores rotate on their own, and everyone can see who has paid. TableCash puts that in one app for the person who runs the house; everyone else uses a link. The guides below go step by step.
TableCash is for the person who runs the house, usually the one whose name is on the lease. They set up the rent and bills and each roommate's share; roommates open one link, see their part, and pay by card or mark that they paid another way. Chores, repairs, house info, house rules and votes live in the same place. The app is free to download; a card payment has a 3.5% plus $1.49 TableCash fee. TableCash doesn't pay the landlord: card payments go to the organizer through Stripe, and the app is the record.
You run the house. Everyone else just opens a link.
